Koffee was the beverage that got the usually reticent Ajay Devgn to spill the beans on not just his movies, but also his life with Kajol, making for one steaming hot episode of Karan Johar's chat show.
The Big D got candid about how Kajol wasn't interested in him when they first met, and how she's now come a long way from the girl who couldn't care less to being a jealous wife.
But while the much married actor appears to be loving the state of matrimony, his advice to B-Town It Couple, Saif and Kareena, was not to get married - a comment he later dismissed as a joke.
We usually get to see Ajay Devgn's lighter side on the big screen and we're thrilled at the chance to catch a glimpse of it closer to real life. The episode is sure to be one of the highlights of Koffee With Karan's current, very controversial season - that is, as long as it's not subjected to a heavy job.

Ajay Devgn, KJo make up over coffee
Ajay Devgan and filmmaker Karan Johar had some candid conversation...
There was news that Ajay Devgn didn't fit well in the KJo-SRK camp, and in fact didn't even approve of it. But hatchets seem to have been buried...
Apparently, Karan Johar was eager to have Ajay Devgn on his show ' Koffee with Karan' as a guest, and had extended an invitation to him even last season and the season before last as well. But Ajay Devgn declined the offers. However, Karan Johar extended an invitation to him once again to appear on his chat show this season, and Ajay Devgn has gladly accepted.
So it was only recently that the two bonded over coffee on KJO's chat show. It has been learnt that Karan was keen to have Kajol and Ajay Devgn together on his show, but Kajol reverted that she was busy with mommy duties, but did mention that she would try and get her hubby Ajay to participate on the show.
Ajay wasn't too comfortable with the 'controversy-creating' format of the show. Also, he is an introvert and not very media savvy. However, Kajol and Karan together convinced him that they wouldn't indulge in gossip, but rather concentrate on his 20-year successful career in the industry.
Ajay proved to be a great guest on Karan's 'Koffee with Karan'. In fact, even Karan noticed that Devgn had a brilliant sense of humour, and insists that the Rapid Fire round is one to watch out for.

Ajay for AGNEEPATH?
What started off as a fun exercise may well lead to a full fledged debate and a further round of speculations if hyperactive imagination of movie buffs was ever considered worthy enough to be acknowledged by film maker Karan Johar. While the man continues to tease Bollywood followers with no word yet on the casting of the remake of Amitabh Bachchan starrer AGNEEPATH, a new name has emerged if a poll conducted in a tabloid is to be believed. As per that, it is Ajay Devgn who could well be the favourite of junta when it comes to the role of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan being reprised.
No wonder, the news about him being the preferred choice of junta has reached the ears of Ajay Devgn too who was totally oblivious to the casting decisions being made. In fact his first reaction was that of total surprise since he was not even aware about any such poll being in progress.
"Honestly, I was totally surprised with the very fact that a tabloid was conducting any online polls for AGNEEPATH. I got to know about it only from a few friends and that too after the results were announced," says Ajay Devgn who is neck deep into his own set of six films that have kept him occupied for the entire year.
He had a further surprise in store when told that he was miles ahead of Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan, the foremost contenders for the role, when it came to audience choice for a man who could reprise the role that has gained a cult status amongst Bachchan fans and followers during last couple of decades.
"Well, I just laughed it all way after a while," says Ajay in his characteristic casual tone, "Polls hote rehte hain, audience apni baat kehti hai; its fine." Let's see what does Karan Johar have to say on this now!
