Heard Karan Johar’s office subscribes to a strange superstition. If the heroine of their film has a fall during the shooting, the film usually becomes a super hit.
Kajol fell off a bicycle during the shooting of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and then again when Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham was being shot. Preity Zinta apparently had a fall while filming Kal Ho Na Ho and the latest is that Sonam Kapoor fell into cow dung while filming I Hate Luv Storys. “The guys at Dharma are actually relieved that Sonam fell because chances are bright the film will work very well,” says a source.
While Karan and co will certainly not push one of their heroines, causing them to trip or fall, they are okay if the girls in their films are fallen women. Hit hai toh sab fit hai.
